Technical Recruiter

LMI is seeking a results-driven experienced Technical Recruiter to provide recruitment services and work with the LMI HR team to support accelerated growth plans with a focus on delivering great candidate experience and hiring manager partnership, the ideal partner thrives in a fast-paced technology environment that embraces teamwork and shared success.

• Works collaboratively with internal teams to identify, attract and successfully hire excellent candidates Manages full-cycle recruitment across locations globally and technical disciplines Actively drives and enhances LMI’s recruitment strategy and processes to support LMI’s business strategy Ensures an impressive candidate experience and internal customer satisfaction Works with hiring managers and the current internal recruitment team to identify, develop and implement strategic and creative sourcing initiatives that result in quality candidate pipelines that prepare and meet talent needs Proactively sources active and passive candidates through networking and other mediums Acts as a recruitment expert within the HR team and with hiring managers to actively share current knowledge, market intelligence, competitor talent movement, and sourcing strategies Build and nurture long-term passive candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill positions Identifies and pursues new ways to build awareness of LMI’s employment brand across multiple hiring markets Participates in our branding initiatives like best workplace certification, career fairs, etc. Ensures all candidate management data is actively documented within the Applicant Tracking System Utilizes our Applicant Tracking System to drive recruitment process improvement and automation initiatives Shares trends and new tools knowledge with recruitment team to elevate the team’s overall capability Participate in hiring manager training by transferring knowledge on recruitment best practices Education and Qualifications Five or more years of full-cycle recruitment experience in a high volume, fast paced, dynamic technology environment Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience is an asset Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate complex recruitment requirements and hit the ground running Success recruiting for technical roles especially in software and vision engineering in different countries Background as an in-house recruiter Strong sourcing, networking and lead generation skills that demonstrate tenacity, creativity and determination to locate active and passive candidates with difficult-to-find skill sets in local and other markets Direct experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to source and manage candidates Effective negotiation and influencing, especially when competing for talent with top tech companies Innovative use of social media and other sourcing methods to hire for specialized areas in unique markets Strong technical and business aptitude with a good understanding of social recruitment tools Positive self-learner with a drive to keep updated with recruitment practices and share your knowledge with others Background in delivering recruitment metrics and reporting along with the ability to analyze the data for insights and trends is an asset Engaging and confident communication style, with the ability to facilitate positive understanding with a wide range of hiring managers and candidates Must be detailed-oriented with strong time management, prioritization, and project management skills Salary Range: $84,000 - $119,700 CAD + Eligibility for Profit Sharing Program Participation (pending successful completion of probationary period and based on business performance) Perks and Benefits Health Benefits: Full health care coverage (with 100% paid premiums) including dental, vision, and drugs for you and your family.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Burnaby, BC headquarters.

To support our collaborative model, preference will be given to local candidates that are able to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
