MAKING AN IMPACT
Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Gift Processing, the Manager, Gift Processing is responsible for overseeing all Gift Processing staff across the country (not including Quebec), ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and consistency of donor data in the CRM, and overseeing the processing, receipting, acknowledgement and reconciliation of all gifts received.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Oversees and manage all day-to-day activities, timelines and deliverables regarding data entry, gift processing and receipting
• Ensures compliance with data integrity and quality standards to ensure donor records are always up-to-date and accurate
• Completes data quality, clean-up and regular performance reports
• Evaluates ongoing staffing needs based on gift volumes to meet service level agreements
• Facilitates the appropriate storage and archiving of gift information
• Makes recommendations on the current data entry protocol and gift management processes to ensure consistency and improve efficiency in the management of donor data
• Supports the national finance team as needed with reconciliation and adjustments
• Supports the DAS team with system changes and upgrades
• Stays current on best practices as they relate to the field of data management
• Management, planning and follow-up of requests and projects from different CCS departments regarding gift processing and donor service tasks related
• Works in compliance with the provisions of The Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations Foster a high-performance culture that leverages the unique talents and strengths of each member while encouraging their growth and development.

Staff Management Responsibilities

• Recruits qualified staff to meet the department needs.
• Manages and leads staff performance in relation to goals established for the department and for individual achievement.
• Meets regularly with staff to review progress against plan.
• Leads staff that work locally and remotely across the country and different time zones
• Champion CCS as a hero in the face of cancer.
• Contribute to our culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity (DIBE) by ensuring that all staff feel represented, valued, and heard across all aspects of their identity, including gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, and sexuality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of post-secondary education, with three or more years of fundraising experience in data entry, donation processing and/or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Demonstrated experience in a management/supervisory role with both local and remote staff members
• Excellent computer skills, proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Experience in one or more of Salesforce, Luminate or CRM is an asset
• Knowledge of basic general accounting procedures and CRA tax receipting requirements an asset
• Demonstrated success working in a both team and independent environments
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proven experience in dealing with high volume of work and competing priorities
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
• English is required; French/Bilingualism (French /English) is an asset due to the organization’s nationwide operations.
