We are a family in Hammond Bay looking for an experienced, reliable part-time nanny/family assistant to become part of our weekly routine. We have a 2-year-old daughter who attends full-time daycare nearby. This is a true hybrid nanny household role. Because our daughter is normally in daycare during the day, a significant portion of the position involves independently helping with the household before transitioning to childcare in the late afternoon. The role includes: Household / Family Assistance: -Preparing family meals from recipes, including cooking and baking -General house cleaning and tidying -Laundry and linens -Household organization and putting away groceries -Light pet care/walks (we have an Australian Shepherd) -Taking initiative with routine household tasks Childcare: -Daycare pickup around 4:20 PM -Playing with and caring for our daughter until approximately 6:00 PM (One later evening per week until 8:00PM) -Providing daytime childcare when daycare is closed -Providing care when our daughter is home with a minor illness Schedule: Approximately 2–3 weekdays per week, 8 hours/day Ideally Monday–Wednesday, but we have some flexibility for the right person We are looking for someone who can make a regular, ongoing commitment to the position Compensation: Target $27/hour, with flexibility depending on experience We are looking for someone who has: -Previous professional nanny experience, ideally with toddlers -Genuine comfort with both childcare and household work -Confidence preparing family meals from recipes -Comfort caring for a child with a minor illness -Initiative and the ability to work independently -CPR / First Aid certification -Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle -Non-smoking -Strong references and ability to complete a Criminal Record Check One or both parents periodically work from home.
