Halifax Public Libraries invites INTERNAL and EXTERNAL applications for a permanent, part-time, Security and Community Liaison Officer positionat Halifax Central Library.
This a unionized position. Preference will be given to internal applicants from the NSUPE Local 14 bargaining unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Security and Community Liaison Officer at Halifax Public Libraries you will:

Education and Experience:
One year post-secondary diploma (e.g. Law & Security) plus two years related experience working directly with the public
OR
Grade 12 plus three years related experience working directly with the public.
