Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Project Manager, BI to lead BI transformation and data migration initiatives using Microsoft Fabric, Azure DevOps, and advanced analytics

Join a multi-year digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing enterprise systems, processes, and data foundations within a not-for-profit environment. This role will partner closely with a system integrator leading a BI Transformation initiative that includes Azure Fabric Data Warehouse migration, MicroStrategy report migration, and advanced analytics enablement. The position supports enterprise-wide data governance, cloud migration, and modernization efforts across the Digital Transformation Program.

Must Haves

• 10+ years leading complex Project Management initiatives across Advanced Analytics and data migration programs
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power Platform, and Azure DevOps
• Expert-level delivery of Data Migration and System Decommissioning projects
• Experience managing Vendor Management, SLAs, change requests, and executive reporting for BI programs
• Background in advanced analytics, BI transformation, and enterprise data governance initiatives

Nice to Have

• Experience with MicroStrategy report migration and decommission planning
• Exposure to Dataverse, Power Automate, Process Mining, and Power BI
• Experience supporting organizational change management initiatives
• Experience working with enterprise PMO and governance structures

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data readiness activities including identifying, sanitizing, and organizing data sources for migration
• Gather and categorize MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, dossiers, subscriptions, and scheduled distributions
• Establish project artifacts including project charter, baseline schedule, RAID log, and status reporting templates
• Coordinate environment setup activities in preparation for migration to Microsoft Fabric
• Set up Azure DevOps for project documentation and design activities
• Lead vendor management activities including performance oversight, contracts, invoicing, and change requests
• Facilitate executive stakeholder engagement and governance activities related to BI transformation initiatives
