We are looking for experienced detail‑oriented Construction Planners to support schedule planning, progress control, and project coordination for a large‑scale data center development. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate programme data, supporting strategic decision‑making, and ensuring alignment across all construction and engineering disciplines.
Followings are the main responsibilities as minimum:
Programme Planning & Development
- Support the creation and maintenance of project programmes using Critical Path Methodology (CPM), ensuring proper activity sequencing, dependencies, and milestone definition.
- Run schedule quality checks and develop report on the scheduling issues
- Maintain accurate comparisons between current progress and the approved baseline across all construction and installation packages.
- Prepare and update rolling 90‑day lookahead plans, highlighting risks, delays, float consumption, and potential recovery actions.
Reporting & Project Controls
- Produce weekly and monthly planning deliverables, including progress curves, earned value indicators, schedule performance metrics, and variance insights.
- Provide consistent progress data for internal frameworks such as PORDAs or equivalent project control systems.
- Develop programme narratives, logic diagrams, and other planning outputs required for stakeholder reports or executive presentations.
- Review proposed baseline schedules and provide review checklist
- Develop what-if scenario schedule and perform schedule delay analysis
Coordination & Documentation
- Work closely with construction managers, engineering teams, and subcontractors to gather accurate progress information and validate activity durations.
- Maintain planning documentation, including schedule assumptions, interface milestone logs, and change‑related updates.
- Participate in coordination and progress meetings, providing input on schedule impacts arising from design changes, construction delays, or procurement challenges.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in project planning or scheduling within construction—preferably in data centers, high‑tech facilities, or mission‑critical environments.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, with solid knowledge of CPM principles and planning best practices.
- Strong understanding of construction phases, multi‑trade coordination, subcontractor interfaces, and contract‑based planning requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
