Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Systems Analyst with 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Application Portfolio Management, DevOps Support, or Service Management. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in requirements gathering, data mapping, reconciliation, governance, and stakeholder management, along with working knowledge of GitHub, Bitbucket, ServiceNow, CI/CD, and DevSecOps processes.

The successful candidate will support application-to-repository mapping initiatives, data reconciliation, governance activities, and repository security requirements while working closely with application owners, developers, DevOps, security, and business teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Gather, document, analyze, and validate application-to-repository mapping requirements.
• Build and maintain mappings between applications, repositories, application owners, support teams, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Reconcile data across GitHub, Bitbucket, ServiceNow, CMDBs, spreadsheets, and other enterprise systems.
• Identify and resolve missing, duplicate, inaccurate, or conflicting application and repository information.
• Define and document data mapping rules, business processes, governance standards, and exception-handling procedures.
• Support implementation of repository security, vulnerability management, and release-gating requirements.
• Facilitate workshops with developers, security teams, DevOps teams, application owners, and other stakeholders.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into clear functional requirements and process documentation.
• Develop process flows, requirements documentation, traceability matrices, and UAT materials.
• Support UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and validation activities.
• Produce audit-ready documentation and maintain project and governance artifacts.
• Identify process gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with technical teams to support effective implementation of business and governance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Technical Business Analysis, Application Portfolio Management, DevOps Support, or Service Management; 10+ years preferred.
• Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Technical Business Analyst.
• Expertise in requirements gathering, business process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Strong experience with data mapping, reconciliation, data governance, and metadata management.
• Working knowledge of GitHub, Bitbucket, source code repositories, branching strategies, and repository ownership models.
• Experience with ServiceNow Application Portfolio Management (APM), CMDB, Asset Management, or Configuration Management.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps processes, security controls, and vulnerability management workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong experience preparing technical and business documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting large-scale repository or application portfolio initiatives.
• Knowledge of application-to-repository and application-to-owner mapping frameworks.
• Experience working with enterprise governance and data quality processes.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and enterprise configuration management practices.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and release management processes.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
