We are seeking a confident Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) with a solid acute care nursing leadership background to join our team in Merritt, B.C. This is a relief full-time position working rotating days from 07:00 to 17:00.

What will you work on?
The PCC is responsible for the coordination of day-to-day operations and quality patient care. This position supports the seamless movement of patients through the healthcare system and in accessing appropriate resources.

The PCC supervises as well as serves as a role model and a resource to staff for clinical decision-making, clinical assessments of patients and in the counseling and education of families. Reviews, analyses and makes recommendations on the development of administrative systems such as policies, procedures and standards of patient care, adequate staffing levels, and a continuous quality improvement environment. Liaises with the interdisciplinary team for identification, coordination and efficient utilization of resources as well as plans for staff educational needs.
