Our financial services client is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support manual testing of a critical enterprise application (Vermeg Megara) for a crown corporation client

Initial 18-month contract, with possibility of extension to a total term of 3 years. % Remote. 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Selected candidate must be eligible to apply for, or currently hold, a valid Government of Canada Reliability Status Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of a critical enterprise application (CMS/Megara: Collateral Management Services), including functional, regression, performance, integration, and end-to-end testing to support operational priorities
• Validate CMS/Megara interfaces and integrations, and system changes against defined business, technical, and operational acceptance criteria
• Develop and maintain test cases, execute test plans, and document test results, defects and supporting evidence using approved testing and defect-tracking tools
• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts and QA automation coverage, where applicable
• Identify, analyze, document, and track defects through resolution, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to support timely remediation

Relevant Experience / Education:

• University degree or college diploma in computer science, information technology, business administration, engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of demonstrated Quality Assurance (QA) experience supporting enterprise applications
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience planning, developing, executing and documenting manual testing activities, including functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing of enterprise applications and associated interfaces
• Demonstrated experience validating system changes and working with business, technical and operational stakeholders to support user acceptance, release readiness, and operational readiness activities

Technical Skills:

• Demonstrated experience supporting testing activities within complex enterprise application environments involving multiple system integrations
• Demonstrated knowledge of QA methodologies, including test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, and test evidence documentation
• Demonstrated experience using test management, defect tracking and collaboration tools, such as qTest, Allure TestOps, Jira, Confluence or SharePoint
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience working with Collateral Management systems such as Vermeg Megara solution or capital markets trading platforms in a development, support, configuration, or quality assurance capacity
