Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer / Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in test automation, Selenium, Python, and Java. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test solutions, executing functional and integration tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with development and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze manual testing processes and identify opportunities for test automation.
Design, develop, test, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
Develop automation scripts using Python and/or Java.
Create and execute automated test cases for functional, integration, system, and acceptance testing.
Build and maintain automation using Selenium and relevant automation frameworks.
Work with Robot Framework, BDD, or similar automation frameworks.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and perform defect triage and tracking.
Troubleshoot automation failures and identify root causes of application issues.
Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve defects.
Maintain test documentation, automation scripts, test cases, and execution reports.
Participate in SDLC/STLC and Agile processes and contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices.
Required Skills:
4 6 years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium.
Strong programming experience with Python and/or Java.
Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
Experience with Robot Framework, BDD, or similar automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of Functional, Integration, System, and Acceptance Testing.
Experience with defect identification, reporting, triage, and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and software testing methodologies.
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience developing reusable automation frameworks.
Experience with API testing and test automation.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of Git/version control and test management tools.
