The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse -Team Lead to join our Lifestyle Options - Leduc team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide personalized nursing care in your assigned area, supporting both independent and team-based functions under the Director of Care.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and supervise the nursing department, ensuring quality care and team coordination.
  • Implement and uphold company policies in collaboration with the Director of Care.
  • Oversee client service plans, staff assignments, and delegated nursing tasks.
  • Support client transitions, including move-ins and move-outs for DSL, Home Care, and independent living.
  • Communicate effectively with families, healthcare providers, and external agencies.
  • Maintain inventory and supplies, including placing orders as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Active registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA).
  • Current CPR, First Aid and BLS certification (required).
  • Minimum five (5) years of nursing experience in seniors assisted living (preferred).
  • Supervisory experience and strong leadership skills are considered assets.
  • Demonstrates person-centered care and respects resident and family input.
  • Excels in time management, multitasking, and independent decision-making.
  • Communicates effectively with strong interpersonal and English language skills.
