Are you an experienced System Administrator with expertise in enterprise asset management platforms? Our Edmonton client is seeking an Asset Management System Administrator for an initial 12-month contract to manage, configure, and maintain their core utilities operations system. In this fully on site role, you will act as the key technical bridge between business users, IT teams, and external vendors, ensuring high system availability, security, and operational efficiency across critical campus infrastructure.

Responsibilities
• Configure system parameters, asset hierarchies, workflow templates, custom reports, and security roles
• Manage user provisioning, role-based access controls, single sign-on authentication, and periodic security audits
• Maintain data integrity by monitoring asset standards, resolving duplicate records, and performing bulk updates
• Monitor data interfaces between the asset management platform and enterprise systems like GIS or procurement
• Coordinate system updates, patches, and releases through thorough testing plans in staging environments
• Provide first-tier technical support to operational users while troubleshooting workflows, reporting, and access issues
• Create operational dashboards and key performance indicator reports to support operational leadership decisions
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience administering Enterprise Asset Management or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
• Hands-on expertise with system configuration, role-based security, API integrations, and reporting dashboards
• Knowledge of utilities operations, work order management processes, and maintenance planning workflows
• Strong analytical and communication skills to effectively translate operational needs into technical setup
