Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager. Reporting to the Director of the Project Management Office, the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing requests, gathering business requirements, preparing technical specifications, and ensuring quality assurance.

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects in accordance with defined requirements. This role requires excellent communication skills and effective management of resources, budgets, and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans including objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements;
  • Coordinate internal and external teams to ensure contributions are delivered on schedule;
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders;
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring expenses remain aligned with forecasts;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters and ensure seamless communication among stakeholders;
  • Conduct post-project reviews and recommend improvements for future initiatives;
  • Maintain and prioritize the project backlog;
  • Analyze business and functional requirements for each initiative;
  • Document and map current and future processes as part of project analysis;
  • Document system functionalities, requirements, and related specifications;
  • Manage and coordinate projects from initiation to completion while ensuring deadlines and budgets are met;
  • Ensure continuous and effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Maintain an up-to-date and prioritized project backlog.


Qualifications

Experience

  • Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects, ideally in distribution or a related industry;
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, Azure DevOps, etc.);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage conflicts effectively;
  • Demonstrated project management experience;
  • Proven experience in process mapping and workflow optimization;
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely;
  • Proficiency with project management software (such as MS Project, JIRA, Monday.com, etc.) and process mapping tools (such as Visio, BPMN, etc.);
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Experience managing change requests and assessing associated impacts and risks;
  • Bilingualism (French/English, advanced level) is required due to the organization’s national operations and the need for effective communication across regions.

Asset (Business Analysis)

  • Understand business processes supporting enterprise applications;
  • Identify and document business needs at the origin of projects;
  • Gather requirements from business stakeholders;
  • Translate client requirements into business requirements for development teams;
  • Ensure an optimal user experience throughout application development;
  • Support testing and implementation activities in collaboration with the analyst responsible for the project;
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery;
  • Prepare and present project progress reports and performance analyses to stakeholders.

Required Technical Skills

  • Monday.com, Azure DevOps, Excel, Visio, BPMN;
  • Dynamics 365, CRM platforms (Salesforce);
  • Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
