We are looking for an Account Manager that has the character and personality to work with a strong team of personable and successful individuals. Our Account Managers are responsible for servicing and retaining clients by building and maintaining valuable relationships. As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for daily account management with our small group benefit clients. Our approach is warm and our relationships are everything with our client. How you'll make an impact Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal partners while actively contributing to a positive and collaborative office culture. Your role will encompass both administrative and strategic responsibilities, allowing you to make a meaningful impact across multiple areas of the business. Build, strengthen, and cultivate lasting relationships with existing clients, delivering exceptional service and support to enhance client satisfaction and retention. Respond to inquiries regarding benefit plan coverage and provide assistance with claims, vendor issues, plan design, and plan administration. Support project management activities related to new client onboarding and carrier implementations, while also developing and delivering employee benefit presentations and educational sessions. Maintain accurate client records by reviewing and filing contracts, benefit booklets, and communications. Track plan details, document key discussions and decisions, and proactively manage follow-up activities by diarizing past and upcoming meetings, action items, and strategic topics. About you What you need to be Successful: Experience in the Benefits Consulting or Insurance industry, Benefits or Plan Administration, or a related field Critical thinkers who can jump in and quickly diagnose critical issues, and problem solve new or unique situations. Thrive on the energy from serving customers and feel proud when they effectively respond in highly sensitive situations. Hold a deep understanding of the importance of professional business correspondence and how picking up the phone is always the best option. Experience with CRM software Ability to travel a few times per month What You Bring: A minimum of 2 years' related industry experience, including but not limited to similar client service and business development exposure. Consistent track record of solving complex client challenges through analytical & creative problem solving, while navigating potentially difficult conversations. Confident enough in your skills and relationships to uncover additional opportunities to cross-solve and drive the sale of additional services and coverage levels.
