Security Guard - Mobile Patrol Kelowna Weekends

Commissionaires BC is looking for a reliable, professional, and responsive Mobile Security Guard to service multiple client services.

This roles requires the safe operations of a patrol vehicle, strong observations kills, and the ability to respond effectively to alarms incidents, and client requests.

The selected candidate is expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism, accountability, and work ethic while working independently in a dynamic environment.

Rotation: Saturday and Sunday 2200-0600 Pay rate: $22.00 / hour Must have valid Class 5 BC Driver's License Your Must-Haves: Hold a valid BC Security License Hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s license Have a clean driver’s abstract Fluent English; excellent written and verbal skills Positive attitude with professional demeanor and strong interpersonal/customer service skills Excellent attention to detail to fulfill job duties and incident report writing Excellent problem solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations Basic to intermediate computer skills Your Nice-To-Haves: Experience in a similar role Basic First Aid (Occupational First Aid Level 1) Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances Job Responsibilities: Safely operating a Mobile Patrol motor vehicle in accordance with all laws and regulations; Conducting security checks at client sites according to directives, standards and post orders; Utilize company cell phones and Tracktik phone app; Conducting alarm response to client sites as needed Conducting House Watch patrol if necessary; Attending lone worker sites to check on workers when requested; Ensuring incident and shift reports are completed including Run Sheets, Vehicle Inspection reports, Tracktik reports, Alarm reports and Inventory reports; Reporting for shifts on time, and maintaining proper dress and deportment at all times; Reporting any unsafe incidents, practices and/or issues; Conducting vehicle checks at start of shifts and ensuring any issues are reported accurately; Being respectful towards tools/equipment and ensuring proper key control at all times; Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and washed as required; Maintaining high standard of work ethic and professionalism; Promoting a respectful workplace by displaying a courteous, professional attitude; Keeping management aware of any unusual incidents; Our Story Commissionaires BC is a Canadian, not-for-profit security/enforcement organization that has been in business since 1927.
