Enterprise Architect - Remote

Our Alberta client is looking for an Enterprise Architect with experience operationalizing and institutionalizing the Enterprise Architecture Practice through the implementation of practical and sustainable capabilities. The engagement is expected to produce tangible and operational outcomes that can be maintained and operated by the client following completion of the engagement.


Duration: 3 months with a possibility for an extension
Location: Remote
Pay Rate: $103-119/hr INC

Responsibilities
Engagement Objective Provide architecture practice operationalization services to design, implement, and establish the supporting capabilities required to enable a sustainable, measurable, transparent, and scalable Enterprise Architecture Practice. The consultant is expected to focus on implementation and operational outcomes rather than assessment and advisory activities alone.

Qualifications
Education Required • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Technology Management, or a related discipline. Professional Certifications Preferred • TOGAF Certified Practitioner (or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification) • ArchiMate Certification • ITIL Foundation (or higher) • Certified Business Architect (CBA) or equivalent Considered

Assets • Microsoft 365 and SharePoint certifications • Power Platform certifications • Knowledge Management certifications • Prosci Change Management Certification • COBIT certification Experience

Requirements Minimum 7 years of experience in architecture, architecture governance, architecture operations, technology strategy, service management, or related disciplines. Candidates should demonstrate practical experience establishing or operationalizing architecture capabilities such as: • Architecture governance processes • Architecture repositories and knowledge management • Architecture metrics, reporting, and dashboards • Architecture service catalogues and intake processes • Architecture communications and stakeholder engagement models • Architecture service management frameworks Experience supporting or maturing an Enterprise Architecture Practice is strongly preferred.
