Senior Business Systems Analyst - Treasury, Cash Management & ERP
Join an exciting opportunity in the insurance sector for our client. This role supports initiatives focused on treasury systems, financial data integrity, process automation, and application enhancements within a collaborative environment that brings together treasury operations, technology, project management, and financial analysis expertise.
What is in it for you:
• Salaried: $75-80 per hour.
• Incorporated Business Rate: $90-95 per hour.
• 12-month contract.
• Hybrid schedule, 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
• Provide business systems analysis support by working with Global Treasury cash operations to define and refine requirements and specifications.
• Support data transformation, process re-engineering, automation, system configurations, functional testing, integration testing, training, implementation, and end-user rollout.
• Work closely with technology teams to explain and clarify technical specifications and business requirements.
• Proactively resolve issues through consultation with various stakeholders.
• Communicate project status and critical issues to management at all levels.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including functional and technical design specifications, in accordance with project management methodologies.
• Lead testing activities by preparing test plans and test matrices and executing functional and system integration testing.
• Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Manage small to medium-sized initiatives in accordance with established project management methodologies, as required.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to identify root causes of production issues and develop timely solutions.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing production tools and processes.
• Interact professionally with clients and business areas to deliver a high level of service.
What you will need to succeed:
Required qualifications
• University degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a business systems analysis function within Treasury cash management and/or Finance.
• Experience with global treasury and cash operations.
• Experience with bank integration initiatives.
• Experience with cash management processes.
• Experience with ERP system implementations and support.
• Experience working on initiatives focused on process automation.
• Technical skills in data transformation and data mapping.
• Project management experience.
• Experience using JIRA.
• Ability to independently learn new systems and technologies.
• Ability to analyze and organize large volumes of data.
Preferred qualifications
• Experience with citizen developer tools such as Power Apps, Power BI, or Alteryx.
• Writing skills.
