Our financial services client is seeking a L&D Designer/Developer III (5-7 years of experience) to develop blended learning solutions using instructional design and eLearning authoring tools

Join a banking operations team supporting national learning initiatives across multiple credit centers. This role partners closely with Learning Program Design leadership to conduct needs analysis and develop learning solutions, communication materials, and online learning content. The position offers exposure to enterprise-wide projects within a leading financial institution, with extension and conversion potential based on performance and business needs.

Contract, Markham or Ottawa, 4 days on site

Must Haves

• 5+ years in Instructional Design developing learning and communication solutions
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Storyline , Rise , and Powtoon
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
• Development of presentation and communication materials for senior management
• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Educational Technology, or a related field

Nice to Have

• Instructional design experience within a financial institution

Responsibilities

• Design blended learning and performance solutions supporting business strategic priorities
• Conduct needs analysis and recommend learning solutions
• Build relationships with partners through meetings and working sessions
• Lead project scoping and planning activities for learning initiatives
• Develop online learning solutions including eBooks, graphic-rich deliverables, eLearning, simulations, and performance support tools
• Collaborate with business and functional partners to understand project, program, and curriculum needs
• Communicate project status and day-to-day updates to stakeholders
