Specializing as a distributor of diverse products, ranging from protein bars and powder, energy drinks, baby food, to vacuum cleaners and health-related items, our client operates at the forefront of varied markets. Notably, the products they handle come in boxes weighing between 15lbs to nearly 50 lbs, depending on the specific product and department. This emphasis on versatility and scale showcases their dynamic role in the distribution landscape.
Location: Britannia Rd West & Erin Mills Pkwy in Mississauga
Day Shift: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Pay rate: $18/hour + 4% vacation pay (Overtime will be paid after 44 hours)
What a Typical Day looks like:
Pick and prepare customer orders accurately according to order requirements.
Use an RF scanner to scan products, locate inventory, and process orders.
Perform quality control (QC) checks to ensure products and orders meet required standards.
Pack orders accurately and securely for shipment.
Process, inspect, and organize returned products.
Verify product quantities, labels, and order details to ensure accuracy.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all warehouse procedures, safety guidelines, and work instructions.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
Any other duties as assigned by your Team Lead or Supervisor
Requirements:
What are we looking for:
Associate must be able to read, write and speak English language
Ability to work Monday through Friday and some weekend as per the client over-time requirements
Must be legally eligible to work full-time minimum 40 hours on legal credentials
Ability to pass the Background check
Associate must have minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience
Must have CSA approved steel-toed safety boots are required on site
Associates are required to be prompt and on-time
Associate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, productivity-focused environment
Associate must be comfortable with frequent bending, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs
Associate must be adaptable to work in any department and for cross- training
