CNC MACHININST - LATHE

Control Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist - Lathe to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta for the afternoon shift. This role offers the opportunity to develop new skills, including CNC programming, with room for advancement within the company.

Shift Details:

• Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM – Midnight
• Two 15-minute breaks per shift
• Overtime available

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, diagrams, and drawings to determine work procedures
• Read and utilize measurement tools accurately
• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines
• Perform precise measurements to ensure components meet specified tolerances and surface finishes
• Operate and handle materials and tools in a safe manner
• Maintain a clean work area and wear appropriate safety equipment at all times
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with the setup and operation of CNC lathes and/or mills
• Proficiency in G-Code and Fanuc controls required
• Trade certification considered an asset, but not required
• Positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail preferred

Starting wage will be based on knowledge and experience.
