Adecco is currently hiring a Project Scheduler for an exciting opportunity supporting automotive and industrial construction projects. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in project scheduling, project controls, construction planning, critical path scheduling (CPM), and project coordination.
As a Project Scheduler, you will develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitor progress, analyze schedule risks, and collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Pay Rate: $30-$35/hour based on experience
- Location: Oshawa, ON
- Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM | Occasional overtime on Saturdays may be required
- Job type: Temporary 4 months with possibility of extension | Full-time

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Create and manage schedules for engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Monitor project progress, identify scheduling risks, and perform critical path analysis (CPM).
- Track key milestones, shutdown schedules, equipment installations, and production impacts.
- Develop recovery schedules and recommend corrective actions when delays occur.
- Produce schedule reports, dashboards, and progress updates for project stakeholders.
- Support resource planning and participate in project planning and coordination meetings.
- Evaluate schedule impacts associated with project changes and scope modifications.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in project scheduling, project controls, project coordination, or project management.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience supporting construction, industrial, manufacturing, or automotive projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction sequencing, installation planning, shutdown execution, and Critical Path Methodology (CPM).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
