CocuSocial, one of the largest culinary experience providers in the U.S., is expanding into Canada and looking for talented, outgoing Chef Instructors to lead fun, social, hands-on cooking classes in Vancouver.
Our experiences are hosted at beautiful partner venues including hotels, cafés, breweries, restaurants, and event spaces. We’re looking for chefs who love connecting with people just as much as they love cooking.
This is a great opportunity for chefs, caterers, culinary instructors, private chefs, hospitality professionals, and food entrepreneurs looking for flexible, supplemental income while sharing their passion with others.

What We’re Looking For
We’re especially excited to meet chefs who are outgoing, engaging, and naturally great with people. The best CocuSocial instructors create experiences that feel welcoming, energetic, and social - not just instructional.
Ideal candidates will have:
- A professional culinary, hospitality, or food industry background
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence leading groups in a fun and engaging way
- A passion for food, teaching, and hospitality
- An organized and reliable approach to event execution
- Evening and weekend availability preferred
Teaching, events, catering, or group facilitation experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities
- Lead engaging, hands-on cooking classes from start to finish
- Purchase and organize ingredients
- Teach cooking techniques in a clear, approachable, and entertaining way
- Create a fun, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere where guests feel comfortable cooking, learning, and socializing
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs - carrying supplies, equipment, etc.
Nice to Have
- Access to a potential venue space (commercial kitchen, café, restaurant, studio, etc.)
- Existing teaching, catering, or events experience
- A personal culinary brand or social media presence

Qualifications
Prior experience as a culinary instructor or chef in a professional kitchen.
- Solid understanding of food safety standards and sanitation protocols.

- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting while maintaining top-quality instruction.
