About the Opportunity
Our client is an established and growing organization in the Metro Vancouver area seeking a Customer Support & Ecommerce Specialist to join their team.
This is a full-time, permanent, fully onsite position offering an opportunity to work in a varied role that combines customer service, order coordination, ecommerce support, and general administration.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with customers, online platforms, and day-to-day operational tasks.
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Compensation: Up to $50,000 per year, depending on experience
Location: Metro Vancouver – Fully onsite
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Order Coordination
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries by phone and email.
- Respond to customer questions and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Process customer orders accurately through various channels.
- Assist with order-related inquiries, returns, and service requests.
- Provide basic troubleshooting assistance and escalate more complex matters when required.
- Monitor order status and follow up on outstanding issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support timely order fulfillment.
- Take ownership of customer concerns and follow through to resolution.
Ecommerce Support
- Assist with day-to-day ecommerce operations.
- Maintain and update online product information and listings.
- Monitor online activity and identify discrepancies or issues.
- Assist with order, inventory, and sales tracking.
- Prepare basic reports and assist with identifying trends or areas requiring attention.
- Learn and work with various online platforms and business systems.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain accurate customer, order, and business records.
- Assist with internal reporting and documentation.
- Support general administrative and operational activities.
- Assist with projects and other duties as required.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, ecommerce, administration, order coordination, or a related field OR a 2-year post-secondary diploma in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Confident and professional telephone presence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
- Customer-focused approach with strong follow-through.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Comfortable working with online platforms and business software.
- Ability to work independently in a fully onsite environment.
Preferred
- Previous experience in ecommerce or online order management.
- Experience with ecommerce, inventory, order management, or ERP systems.
- Experience maintaining online listings or product information.
- Familiarity with accounting or business software.
- Korean language skills are an asset.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to perform occasional light physical duties, including lifting, carrying, and retrieving or placing items on shelves.
- Strong reliability, professionalism, and attention to accuracy.
