Holding an active AMF Claims Adjuster Permit, the successful candidate must be willing to travel across Canada to attend catastrophic loss events, potentially for extended periods of time.

Advantages
Competitive Compensation: Base salary paired with an attractive annual performance bonus plan.

Travel Coverage: Full expense reimbursement, hotel accommodations, meals, and daily per diem during field deployments.

Policy, Regulatory & Safety Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of policy coverages, regional regulatory requirements, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices, effectively applying and communicating these standards across all claims.

Stakeholder Coordination & Collaboration: Proactively partner with policyholders, contractors, adjusters, and third-party vendors (such as engineers and contents evaluation firms), determining when expert involvement is necessary to drive timely claim resolution.

Documentation & Process Compliance: Maintain accurate, comprehensive notes and documentation within systems of record, adhering fully to company policies, procedures, and Standard of Work guidelines.

Professional Development & Mentorship: Stay abreast of industry advancements, property repair procedures, and technical materials, while collaborating with stakeholders to develop and deliver training that supports team development.

Qualifications

Language Proficiency: Fully bilingual in French and English, with solid written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively across diverse audiences.

Travel & Availability: High adaptability to travel across Canada on short notice for potentially extended periods, along with the flexibility to work overtime hours as required.

Organization & Adaptability: Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills, with the self-direction needed to adapt quickly to changing situations and high-pressure environments.

Negotiation & Customer Focus: Exceptional client service orientation and empathy, combined with strong negotiation, settlement, and collaborative teamwork skills to mentor others and resolve complex property losses.
