A respected and growing residential construction company in Calgary, AB is looking for an experienced Foreman Carpenter to lead its carpentry crew. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson ready to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced, high-quality homebuilding environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the carpentry team on residential job sites
- Interpret blueprints and construction plans to guide work processes
- Ensure high-quality, timely completion of framing, finishing, and formwork
- Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with other trades, contractors, and site supervisors
- Track inventory, place material orders, and manage jobsite tools and equipment
- Provide hands-on support when needed to meet deadlines
- Mentor and train junior carpenters and apprentices
Ideal Candidate
Minimum 5 years of recent experience in residential carpentryPrevious leadership or foreman-level experience on construction sitesStrong understanding of carpentry tools, materials, and building methodsAble to read and interpret construction blueprints and drawingsEffective leadership, communication, and time management skillsFamiliar with safety and construction standards in AlbertaPhysically fit to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditionsValid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory)
