We are currently seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position provides day-to-day administrative and operational support to help ensure the efficient operation of the company and its various departments.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing emails, phone calls, and general inquiries.
- Supporting inquires and students with Security Guard Group provided courses
- Managing uniform distribution and returns process
- Bookkeeping entries
- Inventory tracking
- Corresponding with Director of Administrations
Position Details:
- This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field is an asset.
- Previous administrative, office, or customer service experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, Gmail, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use good judgment.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive company and employee information appropriately.
- Comfortable communicating with employees, clients, supervisors, and management.
- Experience with data entry, record keeping, document preparation, and electronic filing systems.
- Ability to learn and use company-specific software and administrative systems.
Work Environment
- This is an in office position, operating Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm
