This team, with a strong background in mechanical design, electronics, embedded systems, materials science, and custom tooling, has been instrumental in the development of sensor technology used in high-speed filling and packaging lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the multidisciplinary function, setting and communicating clear decision-making processes, and establishing a transparent framework for prioritization that the entire team can trust. This is a unique opportunity to build the operating system, priorities, and development processes that will allow the exceptional team to scale with the business. The ideal candidate will have a combination of operating discipline, technical credibility, and a low-ego approach to change. While a prior VP title and direct sensor-industry experience are not mandatory, the role requires a leader who can bring genuine depth in at least one hardware discipline and enough breadth to understand the trade-offs across the rest. The focus is on a leader who can connect engineering choices to commercial outcomes, and who sees the work of people, priorities, and processes as integral to leadership. The role demands a leader who can build structure within an active delivery environment, earn authority with a technical team, and preserve the trust and technical ownership that is already present.
