Salary: $100,000 - 130,000 per year
Requirements:
- We need at least five years of related IT project management experience.
- We are looking for someone with a track record of leading multidisciplinary technology initiatives.
- Experience managing mid-scale implementations and ongoing enhancements for ERP, HRIS, Time & Attendance, Payroll, or similar enterprise platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with work management tools such as JIRA, content management platforms such as Confluence, and project/time tracking tools is required.
- Strong knowledge of Agile practices, including Scrum and Kanban, is important.
- Experience applying the project management lifecycle to SDLC processes is needed.
- Exposure to both structured and Agile methodologies across multiple frameworks is expected.
- The ability to understand complex architecture, networking, and software issues is required.
- Previous experience in IT business analysis is an asset.
- Prior exposure to IT service delivery is an asset.
- Experience with Agile and ITIL is an asset.
- A PMP or similar certification is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- We oversee complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- We manage implementations of new software, upgrades to existing software, onboarding of new entities resulting from M&A activity, and infrastructure rollouts.
- We capture and align project scope, deliverables, quality expectations, and success measures.
- We facilitate timely communication within the project team and with stakeholders.
- We ensure adherence to internal quality standards, processes, tools, and documentation.
- We proactively establish and implement standards where needed.
- We support business analysis efforts so solutions align with business objectives.
- We build schedules, identify the critical path and critical chain, and track milestones and slack.
- We develop and maintain detailed work plans, schedules, budget estimates, and resource plans with project and business/IT teams.
- We work with the Director, ERP Systems to define and establish project governance.
- We plan and manage project resources.
- We define, track, and report on milestones, budgets, and the integrated project plan.
- We own risk and decision management and serve as the main point of contact for project issues, risks, and decisions.
- We coordinate corrective actions and contingency plans as needed.
- We track issues through to resolution.
- We manage stakeholder expectations.
- We lead cross-functional teams, providing coaching, mentorship, and direction.
- We own the Project Change Management process, including reviewing requests, improving the process, ensuring complete information for pCAB meetings, and approving changes.
