Salaried Realtor - Contract To Closing

We are a top-producing team that completes 70+ transactions annually in the Kelowna and surrounding area. We're looking for an experienced, licensed Realtor to join us to fill the role of lead agent for all deals from accepted offer through to closing. Someone who has been through the ropes of being a realtor and absolutely loves it, but wants the work-life balance that the industry doesn't typically allow for - to be home for dinner and spend weekends off the clock.

This is a licensed agent role, not a licensed assistant position. The right person can step in with a client once the team has negotiated an accepted offer, get on the phone with a client they've never spoken to before, and have that client feel just as confident as they did with the agent who signed them. That takes real experience, not a fresh licence.

Mostly importantly, someone who truly wants a team experience - enjoys being in the office, celebrating the highs together and problem-solving through the lows together.

This isn't the right fit for someone newly licensed or looking to learn the ropes. We need someone who can lead a call on day one.

Compensation:

$70,000 annual salary + bonus structure

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of client files upon accepted offer, acting as the primary point of contact to both clients and other agents through closing

• Lead negotiations on subject removals, amendments, and inspection resolutions with clients and cooperating agents

• Review strata documentation / due diligence and advise clients on key considerations and risks

• Coordinate with mortgage brokers, lawyers, inspectors, trades, etc. to keep transactions on schedule

• Monitor contractual deadlines and conditions to ensure timely completion

• Make sound, time-sensitive decisions on transaction issues as they come up, without waiting on someone else's sign-off

• Join the team's daily meeting (30 to 45 minutes) to stay current on all active clients

• Maintain accurate and current CRM records and file documentation

• Work from the office, not a work from home position

Qualifications:

• Active Real Estate Licence in British Columbia, with solid transaction experience under your belt

• Valid BC driver's licence and reliable vehicle

• Strong working knowledge of BC real estate contracts, negotiations, and the full transaction lifecycle

• Comfortable making decisions independently and owning the outcome

• Well organized, with the ability to manage 6 to 15 active files at a time

• Great communicator who builds client trust quickly

• Incredible work ethic and very self-motivated
