Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Functional Consultant to support a

We are seeking a senior Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations (D F&O) Functional Consultant to support a Dynamics implementation.

The successful candidate must have strong hands-on Dynamics F&O Finance and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) experience, including experience participating in end-to-end implementations. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions, configure the system, support testing, and ensure successful implementation and adoption.

Contract: 6 Months plus extension

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional activities related to Dynamics F&O Finance and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate business requirements into scalable D F&O functional solutions.
• Configure and optimize Dynamics F&O functionality based on business requirements.
• Facilitate requirements-gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution-design workshops.
• Support end-to-end implementation activities, including design, configuration, testing, data migration, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Develop functional specifications and work closely with technical/development teams on integrations, customizations, and enhancements.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and business validation.
• Identify opportunities to leverage standard D F&O functionality and minimize unnecessary customization.
• Provide functional guidance and knowledge transfer to business users and project teams.

Must Haves

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations (D F&O).
• Must have D F&O Finance implementation experience.
• Must have D F&O Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) implementation experience.
• Experience with end-to-end Dynamics F&O implementations.
• Strong functional knowledge of Finance processes and configuration within D F&O.
• Strong functional knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management, including asset lifecycle and maintenance-related processes.
• Experience conducting requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and configuration.
• Experience creating functional specifications and working with technical teams on integrations and customizations.
• Experience supporting system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional project environment.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with large-scale enterprise or transformation programs.
• Experience with D F&O integrations and data migration.
• Microsoft Dynamics certifications.
• Experience working in asset-intensive industries such as utilities, energy, manufacturing, transportation, or natural resources.
