Key Duties & Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end FP&A cycle, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and scenario analysis.Build GAAP and cash-based forecasts, including short- and medium-term cash flow and 13-week liquidity views.Develop unit economics and driver-based models (retention, pricing, CAC, content investment) to guide growth and marketing spend.Lead monthly variance analysis and financial reviews; surface risks, opportunities, and clear executive-level insights.Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual results to identify trends and performance drivers.Support fundraising, financing, banking, and government funding initiatives with financial models and reporting.Partner with department heads on budget v. actuals, forward-looking planning, and investment decisions.Collaborate cross-functionally to connect finance, product, marketing, and operations data into a cohesive planning environment.Identify cost efficiencies and revenue expansion opportunities through deep analysis of cost structure and revenue streams.Own FP&A tools, models, and dashboards, delivering CFO- and board-ready insights and real-time scenario analysis.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related major, or equivalent professional strategic finance experience.CPA and / or CFA designation preferred.Experience working in companies in software-as-a-service, and in particular, direct to consumer.Expertise in Excel / Google Sheets and data visualization.Experience with ERPs - and Sage Intacct experience is a plus.Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal)Ability to exhibit the Company's Core Values : Empathy, Passion, and Grit.Bonus if you have experience with Sage Intacct and Tipalti!
