At RCA, we are dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing environment where classroom excellence and spiritual mentorship prepare students to lead and serve with integrity.Reports to: Director of International Program or such other person as may be appointed by the Director.Overview: The International Program Teacher on Call (IPTOC) is a temporary teaching role within Regent Christian Academy’s International Camp Programs. Depending on the length and nature of the assignment, the IPTOC may deliver pre-prepared lessons or assume responsibility for lesson planning, curriculum preparation, and instructional delivery for the duration of the assignment.Key Responsibilities & Core Competencies:· Deliver lessons and curriculum prepared by RCA Camp Instructors for short-term or daily assignments.· For extended assignments, assume responsibility for lesson planning, preparing instructional materials, and delivering curriculum appropriate to the assigned camp or program.· Adapt existing RCA International Program curriculum and resources to meet the age, English-language level, and learning needs of participating students.· When required by the assignment, develop lessons and learning activities in consultation with the Camp Program Lead.· Prepare classrooms and learning materials as needed.· Maintain a positive, safe, and well-managed learning environment.· Supervise students during classroom activities and scheduled excursions.· Arrive on campus punctually, as specified in the contract.· Dress in business attire, unless otherwise directed for physical education or excursions.
