Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Janitorial Associate for an exciting opportunity supporting the operations of a premier event and hospitality facility in Niagara Falls, ON.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in custodial services, janitorial work, commercial cleaning, housekeeping, facility maintenance, or event support. As a Janitorial Associate, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for visitors, guests, exhibitors, clients, and staff.
- Pay Rate: $19/hour

- Shift: Variable schedule | between 7 AM and 3 AM

Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize public areas, meeting rooms, offices, washrooms, and common spaces.
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
- Collect and dispose of waste and recycling while maintaining a clean facility.
- Support event setup and teardown activities, including moving furniture and equipment.
- Respond to cleaning requests, spills, and facility service needs in a timely manner.
- Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely in accordance with company procedures and WHMIS guidelines.
- Assist with exterior facility maintenance, including litter collection, snow removal, and general groundskeeping.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, equipment problems, and supply shortages.
- Maintain custodial equipment, storage areas, and supplies in a clean and organized condition.
- Deliver professional and courteous service to visitors, guests, clients, and staff.
- Follow all health, safety, security, and operational procedures.
- Perform additional cleaning, facility support, and general labour duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous custodial, janitorial, commercial cleaning, housekeeping, or facility maintenance experience is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and custodial equipment.
- Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and disinfectants.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- WHMIS training is considered an asset.
- Experience supporting events, conferences, hospitality, or public facilities is considered an asset.
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
