This opportunity is ideal for physicians looking for a streamlined, well-supported remote practice environment with strong patient demand, steady volume, and the ability to focus on clinical care without unnecessary operational burden.

This is a fast-paced, organized virtual care setting where physicians can build and maintain a broad adult outpatient practice while working independently within a collaborative team environment.

The practice has a strong focus on cardiometabolic care and diabetes management. This is not an exploratory medicine practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver ongoing care for patients with complex medical needs and multiple comorbidities
  • Support patients requiring cardiometabolic care and diabetes management
  • Order and interpret laboratory investigations and diagnostic tests
  • Develop treatment plans, manage follow-up care, and coordinate referrals as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using the clinic EMR
  • Collaborate remotely with clinic staff to support efficient, high-quality patient care in a busy virtual setting
  • Determine when in-person assessment, testing, or referral is clinically appropriate

Practice Highlights

  • Fully virtual outpatient role
  • No hospital work
  • No in-office requirement
  • Strong patient demand with immediate opportunity to build and grow your panel
  • High patient volume and strong referral flow
  • Established clinic infrastructure with experienced administrative and clinical support
  • Practice environment designed to let physicians focus on patient care
  • Flexible remote scheduling model
  • Standard clinic hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch break

Compensation

  • Fee-for-service split available
  • 70/30 split
  • Strong patient volumes to support robust earnings

Qualifications

  • MD or equivalent with training in Internal Medicine
  • Licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, or eligible for independent licensure in Ontario
  • Must be able to provide virtual care to patients in Ontario in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing a broad range of adult medical conditions in an outpatient virtual care setting
  • Experience or interest in cardiometabolic care and diabetes management is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, patient-centred approach
  • Comfort using EMR systems and virtual care platforms
  • Senior physicians are encouraged to apply; all qualified candidates will be considered
