Industrial Machine Assembler

Position Overview : The Assembler is responsible for quality workmanship with assemblies work as assigned for sub-assemblies and main assemblies.

Days of work : Monday - Friday, 6 am - 230 pm

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Apply thread sealant and Loctite to threaded fittings and pipe.
• Follow proper detailing procedure / work instructions.
• Proper use of the sandblaster.
• Drill and tap holes
• Read a tape measure to the closest 1 / 16”.
• Fill out applicable check sheets.
• Ensure quality of work by showing an eye for detail.
• Clock in and out of work orders and report completed work to Foreman.
• Ensure materials are properly tracked and allocated to each job for costing purposes.
• Other duties as required.
