  • Housekeeper / Household Manager & Family Cook – Niagara Falls We are a family of five in Niagara Falls looking for a reliable, experienced housekeeper to join our household on a long-term basis, Monday to Friday. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day upkeep of the home while also preparing a good family dinner each weekday. Main responsibilities : * General housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organized home * Daily tidying of kitchens, bedrooms and common areas * Family laundry, folding and changing bed linens * Cleaning bathrooms, floors and household surfaces * Rotating deeper-cleaning tasks throughout the home * Planning and preparing family dinners Monday to Friday * Grocery shopping or grocery pickup as required * Keeping kitchen and household supplies organized and stocked * Occasional errands and household organization We have three children, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a busy family home and understands the ongoing laundry, tidying and organization that comes with it. Childcare is not the primary responsibility. The ideal candidate : * Has strong private-home housekeeping experience * Is a confident home cook who can independently prepare a variety of good family dinners * Is organized, dependable and trustworthy * Takes initiative and notices what needs to be done without requiring a detailed daily task list * Is looking for a stable, long-term position * Can provide strong references A driver's licence is preferred. A household vehicle can be available for groceries and errands. Schedule : Monday to Friday, approximately 30–40 hours per week. Hours can be discussed, but the schedule should generally allow for dinner preparation before leaving.
