Seeking Caregiver for Elderly Senior – Awake Overnight Shift (11pm to 8am) We are looking for a reliable, compassionate and trustworthy caregiver to provide awake overnight support (11 p.m.–8 a.m.) for our elderly father, who is experiencing cognitive decline and lives at home with his spouse in the Island Lakes area. The primary focus is active overnight supervision to ensure his safety, including monitoring for nighttime waking, confusion, wandering or attempts to leave the home. The caregiver must remain awake and attentive throughout the shift. Duties include assistance with his evening and bedtime routine, showering, dressing, personal hygiene, toileting/incontinence care, medication reminders, companionship and calm redirection or reassurance as needed. Previous senior caregiving experience is required; experience with dementia or cognitive decline is strongly preferred. Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset. Own reliable transportation is required. Schedule: 11 p.m.–8 a.m.; care required 7 days/week. We are open to discussing the number of regular shifts based on availability. Two-week trial period. Rate: $16 /hour based on experience.
