À propos du poste

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) commis d’entrepôt fiable et motivé(e) pour se joindre à une équipe dynamique dans un environnement de travail au rythme soutenu. Il s’agit d’un poste temporaire avec possibilité de permanence, idéal pour une personne qui aime le travail pratique en entrepôt, qui est à l’aise avec les systèmes informatiques et qui souhaite apprendre et évoluer au sein de l’équipe.

Le poste combine des tâches physiques en entrepôt et des tâches informatiques liées à la gestion des stocks et au traitement des commandes. L’environnement de travail est principalement francophone; toutefois, les candidats doivent être à l’aise de communiquer en français et en anglais.

Principales responsabilités

• Recevoir, ranger, prélever, préparer, emballer et expédier des produits consommables et des verres.
• Prélever les articles avec précision à l’aide d’un lecteur RF et vérifier les produits par rapport aux commandes.
• Traiter les réceptions, les stocks, les commandes, les expéditions et les retours à l’aide de systèmes informatiques, notamment Oracle.
• Créer des demandes d’achat dans SAP pour certains types d’achats (une formation sera offerte).
• Ranger et réapprovisionner les produits sur les étagères de l’entrepôt.
• Effectuer des inventaires physiques et participer au contrôle des stocks.
• Préparer et emballer les palettes pour l’expédition (une formation peut être offerte).
• Utiliser de l’équipement d’entrepôt, notamment des transpalettes, des chariots, des diables et des escabeaux, et être à l’aise d’apprendre à utiliser un chariot élévateur à mât rétractable Raymond (formation offerte sur place).
• Effectuer occasionnellement des livraisons entre l’entrepôt et un bâtiment voisin.
• Maintenir un espace de travail propre, organisé et sécuritaire.
• Effectuer toute autre tâche d’entrepôt au besoin.

Profil recherché

• Diplôme d’études secondaires ou l’équivalent.
• Permis de conduire classe 5 valide.
• Bilingue en français et en anglais; l’environnement de travail est principalement francophone.
• Une expérience antérieure en entrepôt, en expédition/réception, en préparation de commandes ou en gestion des stocks constitue un atout.
• À l’aise avec les ordinateurs et des logiciels tels qu’Excel; une expérience avec Oracle ou SAP constitue un atout, mais n’est pas obligatoire.
• Capacité à travailler debout pendant toute la durée du quart de travail.
• Capacité à soulever régulièrement des charges de 2 à 15 kg et occasionnellement jusqu’à 20 kg (44 lb).
• À l’aise avec l’utilisation d’équipement d’entrepôt et d’appareils de levage.
• Excellent souci du détail et bonne acuité visuelle.
• Capacité à travailler rapidement, efficacement et avec précision dans un environnement au rythme soutenu.
• Personne fiable, ponctuelle, débrouillarde et autonome.
• Bon esprit d’équipe, attitude positive et désir d’apprendre.
• Port de chaussures de sécurité et de tout autre équipement de protection individuelle (EPI) requis.

Warehouse Clerk – Consumables

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Clerk to join a fast-paced warehouse team. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse work, is comfortable using computer systems, and is eager to learn and grow with the team.

The role involves a combination of physical warehouse duties and computer-based inventory and order processing. The work environment is primarily French-speaking; however, candidates must be comfortable communicating in both French and English.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, put away, pick, prepare, pack, and ship consumables and lens products.
• Accurately pick items using an RF scanner and verify products against orders.
• Process receiving, inventory, orders, shipments, and returns using computer systems, including Oracle.
• Create purchase requisitions using SAP for certain types of purchases (training will be provided).
• Stock and replenish products on warehouse shelves.
• Perform physical inventory counts and assist with inventory control.
• Prepare and wrap pallets for shipment (training can be provided).
• Use warehouse equipment such as pump trucks, carts, dollies, and step ladders, and be comfortable learning to operate a Raymond reach truck (training will be provided on-site).
• Assist with occasional deliveries between the warehouse and a neighbouring building.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete other warehouse duties as required.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
• Bilingual in French and English; the work environment is primarily French-speaking.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, order picking, or inventory experience is an asset.
• Comfortable using computers and programs such as Excel; Oracle or SAP experience is an asset but not required.
• Able to work on your feet throughout the shift.
• Able to regularly lift 2–15 kg and occasionally lift up to 20 kg (44 lbs).
• Comfortable using warehouse equipment and operating a lift.
• Strong attention to detail and good visual acuity.
• Able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, resourceful, and able to work independently.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Safety footwear and other required PPE must be worn.
