I'm a 23 three year old (soon to be 24) wheelchair user hiring my own attendants in the Lakeshore & Islington area through the Centre of Independent Living. This is a payroll position & program. I manage my care directly. Any candidate must be eligible to work a payroll job in Canada. I am seeking for 2-4 days per week, either a day shift or overnight shift. $170-$190 for 7-11 hours per shift. Duties include assisting me with activities of daily living. I have muscular dystrophy. Meal Prep (must be willing to cook non veg), Hygiene, Dressing, Transfers (with a machine, no physical lifting required), companionship, medicine administration, etc. The ideal candidate is positive, friendly, has excellent communication & listening skills, and a high level of empathy.
