Position : Senior Director of OperationsLocation : Beaconsfield (on site)Salary : $120K to $150K + 15% bonusJob Summary : Our client, a chemical manufacturing company is searching for a Senior Director of Operations to join their growing team. The Senior Director of Operations will oversee manufacturing operations, will integrate procurement, planning, logistics, production, and quality assurance. This role focuses on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement while fostering a collaborative culture. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, accountable, and capable of leading both executives and unionized employees in a growth-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities : - Oversee procurement, planning, logistics, and production to optimize efficiency and costs.- Manage filling and packaging to ensure seamless operations.- Maintain quality assurance and regulatory compliance.- Optimize inventory management and production planning.- Implement technology solutions to enhance operations.- Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma principles.- Establish key performance metrics for operational excellence.- Oversee ~40 employees across production, logistics, quality control, R&D, and warehousing.Requirements : - 5-8 years leadership roles in operations, demand, and supply planning in chemical manufacturing, food or pharma- 3-5 years managing a Monthly Business Planning cycle.- Strong negotiation, project management, and leadership skills.- Six Sigma certification and advanced Excel / BI tools are assets.Please send your resume in Word format to Maia Slivinschi at maia.slivinschi@quantum.ca.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
