Adecco is currently hiring a Production Supervisor for a full-time permanent opportunity in Delta, BC.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced, unionized industrial environment. Reporting to plant leadership, you will oversee day-to-day production operations, lead and develop frontline employees, support safety and quality initiatives, and ensure operational targets are achieved efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:
Production & Operations Management
- Lead daily manufacturing and production operations to meet customer and distribution requirements.
- Coordinate local and long-haul distribution activities throughout British Columbia, Canada, and the United States.
- Monitor production volumes, workforce requirements, and operational performance.
- Ensure production schedules and customer commitments are achieved safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate production priorities across departments and shifts.
Team Leadership & Employee Development
- Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop production employees.
- Support employee training, onboarding, and ongoing development initiatives.
- Conduct safety observations, performance discussions, and employee coaching sessions.
- Support employee relations activities in a unionized environment.
- Lead production meetings, safety meetings, and Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) activities.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
- Partner with Safety and Compliance teams to support training and compliance programs.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, regulatory, quality, and operational standards.
- Support Management of Change (MOC) processes and continuous safety improvement initiatives.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives.
- Develop contingency plans to address operational challenges and production interruptions.
- Drive process improvements to maximize plant performance and customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Administration
- Monitor and report on key operational KPIs.
- Maintain production records, inventory data, and operational documentation.
- Support payroll approvals and workforce scheduling activities.
- Utilize Power BI, Excel, and Office 365 to analyze and report operational performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, industrial, production, or plant environment
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial or production operations
- Minimum 2 years of people leadership experience
- Experience leading teams in a unionized environment
- Strong understanding of production processes, operational planning, and workforce management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
