We have delivered hundreds of projects across Canada, including innovative solutions for the full spectrum of water and wastewater assets, on time and on budget. Join us and immerse yourself in a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative environment where you’ll make a real impact. Together, we’ll push boundaries and go above what’s expected of us to meet the challenges of tomorrow and engineer a better world!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join and grow with our Water and Wastewater team. In this role, you will lead the successful delivery of municipal water and wastewater treatment projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve client objectives, project goals, and organizational standards. You will play a key role in fostering strong client relationships, mentoring team members, and contributing to the continued growth of our Water business. You will also help promote our strong safety culture and commitment to caring for one another.

This position offers the flexibility of our hybrid work model, including flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home, while being based in one of our offices in Markham, Mississauga, Kitchener, London, or Bowmanville.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, health and safety, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and provide leadership to technical staff to ensure successful project execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients, stakeholders, and project partners while serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Manage project financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, and resource planning.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff, fostering collaboration and professional development.
  • Contribute to business development activities by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, participating in client meetings, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline from an accredited university.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in consulting engineering, including project management of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or eligible for registration.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects involving water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, conveyance, and distribution systems through planning, design, and construction.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while delivering high-quality technical solutions on time and within budget.
  • Experience supporting business development, proposal preparation, and client relationship management is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Integrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence
