Job description
Our insurance client is seeking a Senior Guidewire Developer (7+ years of experience) to design, build, and support Java-based web services and API integrations using Guidewire ClaimCenter and Spring Boot
Join an enterprise insurance environment delivering Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration and integrations alongside modern API services. This role focuses on Java-based web services, microservices development, REST/SOAP integrations, and API architecture within a large-scale ClaimCenter ecosystem. The position offers hands-on involvement across integration development, API documentation, testing, and support activities.

Must Haves
- 7+ years developing Java-based web services and API integrations
- Hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration and integration development using Gosu programming and Guidewire integration frameworks
- Spring Boot and microservices architecture development
- Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming/messaging platforms
- RESTful and SOAP web services, batch processing, and Postman API testing/troubleshooting
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, YAML, Swagger/OpenAPI, authentication, authorization, logging, messaging patterns, and SAPI/PAPI/XAPI architecture
Nice to Have
- Guidewire ACE certification
Responsibilities
- Design Java-based web services and API integrations
- Configure and develop Guidewire ClaimCenter integrations using Gosu programming and Guidewire integration frameworks
- Support Java-based web services and API integrations
- Develop microservices using Spring Boot
- Build and consume RESTful and SOAP web services
- Perform API testing and troubleshooting using Postman
- Define and document APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI
