Here's how a Technology Equipment Coordinator for PCL Construction Resources Inc. within Resources contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

• Configure, image, and deploy end-user technology equipment.
• Support the lifecycle management of computers, networking equipment, servers, printers, and related technology assets.
• Coordinate hardware warranty claims and vendor escalations.
• Refurbish and prepare technology assets for redeployment.
• Maintain hardware standards and equipment information within company systems.
• Support the deployment and management of specialized technology, including cameras and drones.
• Coordinate equipment movement and inventory replenishment with warehouse and logistics teams.
• Prepare decommissioned equipment for donation or disposal.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and asset information accurately within tracking systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate technical concerns through established support channels.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of technical or IT support experience.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, software, and related technology services.
• Understanding of IT asset management principles and equipment lifecycles.
• Experience using asset management, inventory, or service management systems.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
