•6G TSSA Pipe Welding TIG Certification an asset; other weld certifications also an asset • Skills in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding processes • Minimum 1 year of pipe welding experience • Ability to weld pipe in the 6G position • Strong understanding of welding preparations, fit-up, tacking, root passes, fill passes, and cap passes Duties / Responsibilities

• Responsible for fabricating and welding piping assemblies and spools according to engineering drawings, welding procedures, specifications, and quality requirements
• TIG welding of pipe, including open-root pipe joints; may also do some MIG welding of structural frames and other components when required
• TIG weld carbon steel and stainless steel piping and pipe stools
• Prepare, fit-up, align, tack, and weld pipe joints according to drawings, specs, and welding procedures
• Perform open-root welding and maintain proper root penetration and weld profile
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, dimensions, and work instructions
• Select and prepare appropriate welding equipment, consumables, and tools for each job
• Inspect welds visually and identify defects or conditions requiring correction
• Perform grinding, cleaning, and preparation of joints before and after welding
• Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, pipe stands, welding positioners, and other equipment safely
