MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support a high-performing Program Management team in the planning and execution of large-scale electrical utility capital projects across Alberta. This is a 1-year contract with strong potential for renewal, working alongside a team of Project Managers across a diverse portfolio of capital projects.

What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating and delivering assigned projects through permitting, construction, and commissioning within defined timelines
- Supporting a team of Project Managers across a portfolio of projects ranging in cost, complexity, and duration
- Using Oracle and Oracle Business Intelligence to support procurement, vendor payments, cost monitoring, and cost forecasting
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of project documents including charters, management plans, change requests, and close-out documentation
- Providing administrative support: organizing meetings, tracking action items, maintaining issues logs, and filing safety documentation
- Supporting RFP development, bid evaluations, and contract formation
- Maintaining project records in SharePoint and other project management platforms
- Liaising with engineering, procurement, project controls, and construction teams to keep deliverables on track
- Participating in field activities including project kick-offs, walk-downs, and HSE inspections
What You Bring
- 4 years of project coordination or project management experience, preferably in a construction environment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a relevant technical certificate or diploma
- Solid understanding of PMBOK processes; PMP designation is highly desirable
- Experience with utility construction in energized substations or transmission projects is a major asset
- Proficient in Oracle, SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Safety-focused, team-oriented, and comfortable working with limited direction
