Job description

Adecco is currently hiring several full-time Electronic Assemblers for a leading manufacturing organization in Newmarket, ON. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
As an Electronic Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling components, operating production equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring products meet established specifications and safety standards.
*As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role

  • Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
  • Location: Newmarket, ON
  • Job type: Temporary with possibility of Permanence | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical and electronic components according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to complete production tasks.
  • Test, inspect, and verify products to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Perform machine operation and routine equipment checks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and workplace safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety and ESD procedures.
  • Complete assigned tasks within established production and quality standards.
  • Assist with other production and assembly duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in electronic, mechanical, or manufacturing assembly preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and written instructions.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills are an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or nights when required.
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and safety footwear.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
