Material Handler - Night Shift

We are hiring a Night Shift Material Handler for a metal manufacturing facility in Brantford, ON, conveniently located on a local public transit bus route. Working within manufacturing & logistics, you will manage material movement, stage raw metal parts for production, and operate material handling equipment in a clean, safety-focused environment.

This position runs Monday to Thursday from 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM. Base pay is $25.00 to $26.00 per hour, plus a $1.00 to $2.00 per hour shift and experience premium (earning up to $28.00/hr) on a temp-to-perm basis.

Responsibilities
Safely move raw metal stock, in-process components, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments using forklifts or overhead material equipment.
• Stage raw materials at active workstations to maintain continuous production flow.
• Perform inventory checks, organize storage areas, and process shipping documents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work area following health and safety standards.

Qualifications
1+ years of material handling or industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
• Full availability for the night shift schedule (Mon–Thu, 5:30 PM–4:00 AM).
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots required.
Practical experience in material handling, inventory receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with operating material handling machinery or industrial forklifts.
• Strong organizational skills, physical stamina, and attention to detail.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to team productivity.
