Technical SEO Team Lead

Open to Canada and Latin America - Working EST timezone

We're the all-in-one agentic marketing platform. AI-native from day one. We're not joining a category, we're defining it.

This role will be reporting to the CRO. We're looking for someone to lead our Implementer team. Six people doing hands-on technical SEO for clients who pay real money and hold real opinions about it. You'll manage the team, take the calls nobody else wants to take, and keep the work moving. If your team escalates an issue they need your help solving a problem or hopping on a customer call is a tough scenario for you, this is not the role.

What you'll own

The team

• Automating and optimizing process through the platform and agentic solutions

• Six Implementers reporting to you

• Weekly 1:1s, coaching, and performance conversations

• Daily team sync and daily lead huddle with the other Team Leads

• Capacity and project planning

• Quarterly team objectives and time tracking approvals

Escalations and conflict

• You take the client call when the team can't resolve it or the topic is too complex, like contracts

• Bring the temperature down first, then drive the fix with Product, Engineering, and Billing

• Own accounts at risk of churning, including the post mortem and the offboarding conversation

• Track open escalations across the team until they actually close

Client relationships and Quality

• You make sure that every account is handled well by the team

• You own the quality bar for onboarding and implementation run by the team and make sure nothing gets missed

• Meet with new prospects who approach the team wanting to join the program to assess fit

• Lead strategy reviews when an account is under pressure or underperforming

SEO and technical problem solving

• Diagnose schema errors, indexation issues, traffic drops, and migration fallout

• Find root cause instead of passing it along

• Confirm the fix actually worked before you close it out

• Reason through platform and integration failures with Product and Engineering

Reporting and internal tooling

• Own the team and customer scorecards, retention scorecard, and customer health dashboard

• Own reporting for leadership

• Build the dashboards and trackers yourself, and maintain what sits behind them

• API integrations to GSC, GA4, GBP and similar

• Build and pilot the AI tooling the team runs on

Process and Documentation

• Own the SOP library and keep it current

• Define and update package scopes and always find ways to make them more automated

• Standardize shared templates across the team's accounts

• Roll out process changes to Support, CSM and Marketing when they cross team lines

What we're looking for

• AI native or highly competent with AI tools. This is a must.

• Excellent spoken and written English (C1 to C2).

• 1 to 2+ years directly managing a team.

• 3 to 5 + years of experience owning client escalations on live calls.

• 1 to 2+ years of hands-on SEO. You can look at a schema error, an indexation problem or a traffic drop and know what you're looking at.

• Technical fluency to work with engineers directly. You understand how a site, a CMS and an API connect, and you can read an error and say what you need fixed.

• Experience owning a structured onboarding or implementation process end to end.

• Experience building internal tools, dashboards or automations yourself.

• Working knowledge of tools like Linear, ClickUp, Hubstaff, Stripe, and API integrations (GSC, GA4, GBP or similar).

Compensation: $25 to $30 USD per hour
Benefits: 15 days PTO. Christmas Day and New Year's Day paid off.
