Are you a detail-oriented finance professional eager to make an impact in the architecture space? We are seeking a Junior Project Accountant for a 3-month contract position with a strong opportunity for permanent placement for our client in the architecture industry.
In this role, you will act as a vital financial partner to our Project Managers and Architects, ensuring design projects stay financially healthy, accurately billed, and on budget from concept to completion.

Responsibilities
Project Setup & Billing: Set up and maintain project profiles; execute timely, accurate monthly billing and handle disbursement invoices.
Consultant & Cost Management: Track consultant costs against budgets, reconcile invoices, and manage sub-consultant payments using the pay-when-paid model.
Budgeting & Analysis: Review monthly project reports, partner with Project Architects to build project budgets, and flag variances.
Ad-Hoc Support: Assist with ad-hoc reporting and maintain strict alignment with firm accounting policies.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
Experience: Project accounting experience within professional services, architecture, engineering, or construction.
Software: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Hands-on experience with BST Global is a significant asset.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and the confidence to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
